Frbiz Issues 2010 China Earphone Consumer Research Report

(MMD Newswire) August 10, 2010 -- Recently, Frbiz issues Chinese earphone consumer habits survey, the survey showed that with the increasing popularity of mobile life, the use of earphone for headset user demand become more and more comprehensive, the sound quality is still the main reason for user to choose earphone.

Traditional earphone still occupies the main position. Account for the proportion of 50.81% of user survey said they would choose to use earphone during the journey; shopping ranked second, accounting for survey of 29.49% percent; in the survey, only 2.6 % of respondents indicated that they would use earphone in outdoor recreation.

In survey, travel and shopping, this type of mobile process still the first choice for consumer to uses the earphone.

It is worth mentioned that the earphone users, there are 56.81% of the users that use of headphones when listening to music has 30 minutes or 60 minutes; 18.00% of the users choose 30 minutes below; only 12.65% of users choose 60 minutes or 120 minutes; only 12.53% of the users choose 120 minutes above, which indicating that the user's earphone usage time is relatively short.

Listening to music in shortening time factor for the research question, the user selection appear two-way, 55.59% of user attention back to music on headphones expressive requirements; there are only 29.31% of users expressed comfort degree requirements for earphone, only 15.08% of users are blamed diminished interest in music.

This issue of conflicting with the above choice just indicates that the current earphone users are at the exploration of their own needs and ambivalent phase. User for earphone's wearing comfortable degree requirement is not mature and perfect, but 29.31% of users favor and support, just indicates this aspect of development space. This is the only way for the future development of earphone manufacturers, but also be a necessary condition for success in market competition.
